Planning for both the wedding and honeymoon are stressful. To help ensure that your Caribbean honeymoon vacation goes off without a hitch, follow a few simple guidelines and honeymoon vacation tips.
For 6 month prior :
- Establish your Caribbean honeymoon vacation budget. Then stick to that budget!
- Research various Caribbean honeymoon vacation locations by talking to friends and family. Search the internet or visit site http://www.traveldiscuss.com/directory/by-destination/caribbean/ , read travel magazines or consult with a travel agent.
- Once you have decided on your Caribbean honeymoon destination, start reserving your hotel accommodations and book your flight.
- If you are planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean, make sure you check all the marriage requirements so that you can begin all the paperwork required. You might also want to communicate with a wedding planner at your Caribbean resort.
For 3 month prior :
- Prepare for all necessary rentals for your Caribbean honeymoon including: a car, any off-road equipment, snorkeling and scuba gear, water sports toys.
- Make sure you have your passports or visas necessary for your Caribbean destination and that they are up-to-date. Begin making reservations for popular restaurants, recreation tours and shows if your Caribbean honeymoon will be during peak season (November – April). For 2 weeks prior :

For 1 week prior :
